Our Olive Leaf Tea a state winner at delicious. Produce Awards

August 8, 2016

We are absolutely thrilled to accept an award from the Delicious Produce awards for our biodynamic olive leaf tea.  Over the years we have worked to expand our range with our gourmet salt range from the Pink Lake in Dimboola and pulses and grains sourced from our neighbors in the Wimmera but the olive leaf tea is special to us because it comes from within our fence line..

Not only have we produced a beautiful tasting tea but we've done it in a way that follows our core values of sustainability, resourcefulness and limiting waste. These beautiful fresh shoots from our manzanilla trees would otherwise simply fall to the ground in their own good time or be pruned by us following our May harvest. It is this spirit of innovation that has driven us from the very early days of the business in reinvigorating a dilapidated olive grove and finding a market for biodynamic olives and olive oil.

We shared an award in the 'from the earth' category with some amazing Victorian producers, see the full list here
